About the event

Lammas is an ancient celebration, the festival of gratitude and abundance, one of 8 celebrations on the wheel of the year. Itā€™s a fruitful time, where we reap what we have sown, Life is in fruition and full bloom & itā€™s beautiful to celebrate this pivotal time in the year!

During each sacred festival and seasonal peak, itā€™s an opportunity & it is medicine for us to become increasingly present, to center ourselves & to reflect. Embracing themes of gratitude, transformation and hope.

There is also a shift. The high energy of the summer soon begins to slow down as we shift from the fire element.

May we take this opportunity to enjoy, embrace & honor the fire element during this session; our own inner light,Ā

candle light & the sunshine.Ā

We will begin with gentle movement & breathing practice, followed by a Ā 'Summer Flow Yoga Session' with Tillie Jones. We will drop in by honoring the bounty of the surrounding abundant lands of Croesor and the sacred space holding our gathering. We will journey the earth element with gentle grounded movements, gradually into a more dynamic fire & water element inspired sequence to find our flow together & prepare for dancing mind, body, spirit ~

The dance will be a 5rhythms inspired session. A dynamic vibrant movement practice, a movement prayer, that ignites creativity, freedom and connection. Ā Guided by Annie Durrant. 5Rhythms is a movement meditation practice devised by Gabrielle Roth in the late 1970s. Her method draws from indigenous and world traditions using a combination of ecstatic, shamanic, mystical and eastern philosophies. Fundamental to the practice is the idea that everything is energy, and moves in waves, patterns and rhythms ~

We will have built up quite the appetite by now...!

& will complete with a nourishing Mediteranean feast; A locally sourced, organic & plant based meal made by local Chef, Ā SiĆ“n Gethin Hill.

*Homemade Organic Hummus,Ā

Roasted Vegetable Salad,Ā

Wild Garlic Salted Beet Salad,Ā

Fresh Sourdough BreadsĀ

Freshly Made Dressings w. Extra Virgin Olive OilĀ

A Sweet and nourishing infusion of Meadowsweet, Lemon balm & Calendula tea.
